In 2012, MARVEL's The Avengers set the bar pretty damn high for superhero films in the form of fun & action AND character. Especially in a summer that also featured the heavy, yet brilliantly directed The Dark Knight Rises from Christopher Nolan. What I'm excited about as a fan of all-things-geek, is how good these films keep getting, and I'm not talking about just the digital effects. Next up on the MARVEL menu is Iron Man 3 with Robert Downey Jr. returning as Tony Stark, a role that he will forever be known for....let's hope that the great superhero films trend continues this summer!
