Personality Bio
  • Where are you originally from?
Born in Cleveland[Go Tribe!]...as a charter member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame my name is inscribed somewhere in that palace on Lake Erie. Since I was 10 I've lived in the Gem City, I think its a pretty cool town.

What's the best thing about working for WTUE?
The first gig I had here at the station was the Saturday Night Block Party. One evening I was playing a block of Pink Floyd and I said aloud, "I am playing a block of Pink Floyd AND getting paid for it." What a sweet job!

What CDs are in your CD player right now?
I still have a lot of vinyl and will never make the switch to an i-Pod. On-the-side I deejay wedding receptions and in nightclubs so my faves are quite varied. I idolize; The Cult, The Cars, The Beatles & Metallica of course, plus the mashup band Beatallica, to name a few rockers.

Where do you hang out most in Dayton?
Running around a tennis court. That is when I'm not hitting .657 as a 'TUE MasterBatter softball player [lest we forget about our fishing team the Master-Baiters]. I'm constantly trying to shed that elusive extra ten pounds (some think it's more like 20) I've been carrying around. The pizza & wing diet may be the culprit!

What was the best concert you've ever seen?
I go to Jimmy Buffett shows ~ its a major party! The band I've seen the most (other than Boston-due to an old girlfriend) is Pink Floyd. The last Kid Rock show at Hara was unlike any concert I've ever been to...it was a show, there's a difference!  Finally saw Steely Dan last summer and when I closed my eyes it was as if the record was playing!  Big Head Todd & the Monsters sound great live. Early Cult, when I was in college had an unpolished rawness to them. {said in thick English bloat > I Like That Band} That's what lead singer Ian Astbury said to me once, describing Mother Love Bone...

    Tattoos (location)?
Not yet. I've considered an Agave plant, 'cuz I'm a top shelf Tequila(anejo) connoisseur, yet I also like good beer, so maybe something along those lines. And an anchor of course!

Who would you like to beat the crap out of?
Art Model and Teresa Earnhardt.  They should get married.  Their offspring would be the anti-christ!! :-o
