As a die hard Bruce Springsteen fan, I figured I'd pass along the news that a killer fan documentary has just been released called Springsteen and I. Check out the trailer to see what it's all about, and listen to the Liquid Lunch for your chance to win a copy.

Will the real Slim Whitman please stand up. Alas, nevermore. The great, great Slim Whitman has passed away at the age of 90. Another music legend, gone far too soon. I figured Slim could play in Branson until he was 98 or so at a minimum.
RIP Slim. May you be at peace as you forever yodel into the canyon of love.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers did 5 sold out nights at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. The show on Sunday was actually shut down by the cops due to overcrowding. Some fan videos are starting to hit the interwebs. The setlists were full of hits, rarities and covers. This is a killer version of the old Paul Revere and the Raiders classic.
Gene Simmons says he knows KISS won't continue on indefinitely. The blood-spitting bassist tells Sweden's Expressen TV that the time will come when the band has run its course and they're ready retire - eventually.
Simmons says he believes KISS has at least a few more years left in them, but he's not sure the group will still be around a decade from now. He's predicting the end will come within the next "five to ten years."
KISS just launched the European leg of their 2013 Monster Tour in Stockholm Saturday night. With the show the band introduced their new stage set featuring a giant, fire-throwing spider that crawls into the crowd. Simmons credits frontman Paul Stanley with coming up with the spider idea, adding that all of KISS' great ideas have come from band members, not from outside designers.
The band will follow their European trek with a series of Canadian dates. They have one U.S. show set for July - Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin on July 20th - along with several U.S. dates scheduled in August.
